"Cookie" policy

This Policy applies to "cookies" and refers to the website operating at:, whose operator is KFE Holding Sp. z o.o. with its registered office at Czerniakowska No. 71, 00-727 Warsaw, KRS no.: 0000255059 (hereinafter referred to as: "KFE Holding").

1. What are "cookies"?
"Cookies" shall be understood as IT data, i.e. in particular files in text format, stored in the user's terminal equipment (computer, telephone, tablet, etc.), transferred via the website. These files allow you to recognize the user's equipment and properly display the website adapted to his/her individual preferences, enable the display of the website in the user's language configured by these files, as well as the use of other website settings selected by the user.
"Cookies" generally contain the name of the website from which they originate, their storage time on the terminal equipment and a unique number.

2. Do "cookies" contain personal data?
As a rule, "cookies" do not constitute personal data.
However, some information stored in "cookies" (e.g. concerning preferences), especially when combined with other information about the user of websites, can be treated as personal data.
Personal data collected using "cookies" is processed only to perform specific functions for the user, described below in section 4.
Such data is encrypted in a way that prevents unauthorized access to it.

3. What do we use "cookies" for?
"Cookies" are used to adapt the content of websites to the user's preferences and equipment, and to optimize the use of websites. These files allow you to save the user's choices as to:

  1. resignation from profiled ads,
  2. language,
  3. browser,
  4. settings of selected elements of the website.

"Cookies" are also used to facilitate logging into the user account and to enable navigation through subpages on websites, without the need to log in again on each subpage.
At the same time, "cookies" act as an additional layer of security and are used to secure websites, for example, by preventing unauthorized access.
They are also used to create anonymous, consolidated statistics that help to understand how the user uses websites, which allows to improve their structure and content.
At the same time, it provides for the unique possibility of incidental, personal identification of the user, whose behaviors bear the features of prohibited acts.
"Cookies" also help to ensure the refinement and smooth operation of websites, including  performance of websites, for example by traffic analysis and occurrence of anomalies of distributed denial of service type (the so-called DDoS attacks).
"Cookies" can also be used to identify which ads were displayed by the user, as well as to display ads most relevant to the user's activity on websites.

4. What kind of "cookies" do we use?
As a rule, we use two types of "cookies" - i.e. "session" and "permanent".
The first of them are temporary files that remain on the user's equipment until logging out of the website or turning off the software (browser).
"Permanent" files remain on the user's equipment for the time indicated in the "cookies" parameters or until they are manually deleted by the user. "Cookies" used by website operator's partners, in particular website users, are subject to their own privacy policy.
We can distinguish a detailed breakdown of "cookies" due to:

A. Necessity to provide the service
Necessary - they are absolutely necessary for the proper functioning of the website or functionalities that the user wants to use.
Functional - they are important for the operation of the website:

  • they are designed to enrich the functionality of websites; without them, the website will work properly, but will not be adapted to the user's preferences,
  • they are designed to ensure a high level of functionality of websites; without them, the level of functionality of the website may reduce, but their absence should not prevent full use of it,
  • they serve most of the functionality of websites; their blocking will result in the selected functions not working properly.

Business - they enable the implementation of the business model on the basis of which the website is made available; their blocking will not result in the unavailability of all functionalities, but may reduce the level of service provision due to the inability of the website owner to implement the revenue subsidizing its operation.

B. Due to the time for which "cookies" will be placed on the user's terminal equipment
Session cookies - "cookies" placed for the time of using the browser (session) and deleted after its closing or logging out from the website.
Permanent cookies - are not deleted when the browser is closed and remain on the user's equipment for a specific period or without validity (depending on the settings of the website owner).

C. Due to the origin - of the administrator of websites that manages "cookies"
Own cookies - "cookies" placed on websites directly by KFE Holding
External cookies - "cookies" placed on websites by entities other than KFE Holding

"Cookies" can be called by KFE Holding using mechanisms (scripts and/or components) that are located on servers of the KFE Holding partner, placed in a different location.
In the case of calling components of websites from outside the KFE Holding system, other standard "cookie" policy may apply than the privacy policy/ "cookies" of KFE Holding

D. Due to the purpose they serve
Website configuration - they allow setting functions and services on websites.
Security and reliability of websites - they enable the verification of authenticity and optimization of the performance of websites.
Authentication - they allow you to inform when the user is logged in, so that the website can display relevant information and functions.
Session status - they allow you to save information about how users use the website. They can refer to frequently visited websites or possible error messages displayed on some websites. "Cookies" used to save the so-called "session status" help improve services and increase the comfort of browsing.
Processes - they enable efficient operation of the website and functions available on it.
Ads - they allow you to display ads that are more interesting to users, and at the same time more valuable to publishers and advertisers; "cookies" can also be used to personalize the ad, as well as to display ads outside the websites.
Analyses and tests, audience audits - they enable the website owner to better understand their users' preferences and improve and develop products and services through analysis. Usually, the owner of the website or the research agency collects information anonymously and processes trend data, without identifying personal data of individual users.

E. Due to interference in the privacy of the user
Harmless - Includes "cookies":
necessary for the proper operation of the website,
needed to enable the functionality of the website, but their operation has nothing to do with user tracking.
Investigating - they are used to track users, but do not include information allowing (without other data) to identify a specific user.

5. Deletion of "cookies"
KFE Holding's right to store and access "cookies" results from the consent of the website user.
This consent is expressed by the user when making configurations of the browser or selected website or service. The user can return to these settings at any time and specify the conditions for storage or access to this information by KFE Holding.
By default, the software used for browsing websites allows by default to place "cookies" on the terminal equipment.
These settings can be changed in such a way as to block the automatic support of "cookies" in browser settings or inform about their every transfer to the user's equipment.
